Fused Glass Night Lights

I’ve loved art from a very young age. My mother didn’t want “her girls” (I have 3 sisters) watching TV all summer, so we took up many arts and crafts hobbies. My father was a great photographer and gave me my first good camera in my early teens. I took photography classes and honed my skills with travel photography.

After a 30+ year career in healthcare, I was finally able to pursue my passion, and I became a fused glass artist! All my pieces are cut by hand and designed in my studio - making each one unique. They spend 16 to 24 hours in a glass kiln fired to over 1350 degrees. Glass is wonderful to work with and I consider myself very lucky to do this each day … despite the occasional finger cut! 

Inspiration for my photo art and fused glass designs comes from my love of the beach, sunrise over the ocean, flowers and traveling to interesting places.
