My Story
I’ve loved art from a very young age. My mother didn’t want “her girls” (I have 3 sisters) watching TV all summer, so we took up many arts and crafts hobbies. My father was a great photographer and gave me my first good camera in my early teens. I took photography classes and honed my skills with travel photography.
After a 30+ year career in healthcare, I was finally able to pursue my passion, and I became a fused glass artist! All my pieces are cut by hand and designed in my studio - making each one unique. They spend 16 to 24 hours in a glass kiln fired to over 1500 degrees. Glass is wonderful to work with and I consider myself very lucky to do this each day … despite the occasional finger cut!
Inspiration for my art and fused glass designs comes from my love of the beach, sunrise over the ocean, flowers and traveling to interesting places.
